Visioning Community Survey

By contributor,

Dear Hopkinton Resident:
We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to be heard.

The Hopkinton Board of Selectmen created the Hopkinton Visioning Steering Group to help navigate a process to solicit input from you on what our community might look like ten years from now.

The group has created a survey which is an important tool designed to help create a vision for the future, and action steps to achieve that vision. The survey is also available to pick up in the Town Manager's Office in hard copy for interested participants.

Fire Department Warns of Phone Scam

By contributor,

The Hopkinton Fire Department is warning town residents about a possible home carbon monoxide inspection scam.

A town resident has reported to us that they’re receiving phone calls from a Chimney Cleaning Company trying to inspect their home carbon monoxide detectors. The company is telling residenst they are representing the Hopkinton Fire Department. The Hopkinton Fire Department only inspects carbon monoxide detectors by request of a homeowner. We believe this is a scam to gain entrance into private homes.
